THE SLEEPERCODE PROJECT
You’re walking down the street when you see the unassuming body of a sleeper car. While admiring it, you notice a shiny metallic sticker on the door panel. Curious, you scan the sticker with your phone’s camera. In seconds, a custom profile pops up, giving you a virtual tour of the engine compartment, a personal greeting from the owner and a digital coupon for the same K&N air filter you saw in the profile. Impressive. But what if this was just the tip of the iceberg?
The SleeperCode project was a highly ambitious attempt to bring K&N Motorsports into the 21st century and beyond. Through QR codes, near field communication and social integration, we developed a comprehensive campaign to bring car culture out of the shadows and into the mainstream.
